The 10K distance is very popular due to its accessibility, achievability, diverse training options, health benefits, and the racing options available.  As a result, the 10K has become a favourite among runners both as a training distance and a running event distance.

Sydney Harbour 10K

This is a Sydney favourite because it is fast and flat it passes through some of Sydney’s most iconic locations from the Rocks, Hickson Road, Pyrmont Bridge, Pyrmont, Cockle Bay Wharf, Barangaroo and then Overseas Passenger Ship Terminal (finish area).

In 2023 there were about  3,418 Participants, Median Result – 58:17.00. The Male winner was Ed GODDARD (#11) 00:29:37.5| Female winner was Genevieve GREGSON (#12) 00:32:19.6.

There are plenty of areas to take selfies with backdrops of the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour bridge, the Rocks and Circular Quay

1 loop - from Rocks to Pymont and back via Bangaroo Reserve. Fantastic atmosphere especially at the finish at the Overseas Passenger Ship Terminal. 

Event Details

Nomally Late July, about $85 entry (2023 pricing). All finishers receive a medal. There are bag drops, drink stations, pacers. The course is AIMS certified.
