Its a great run, particularly on a sunny day. Good way to see the foreshores of Sydney CBD and have somewhere to park your car.
Easy | Log Run | Relatively Flat - running back up the spiral - 30m climb at 9% according to Strava
Slight incline onto Anzac bridge, followed by the spiral ramp onto Quarry Master Drive in Pyrmont (about 30m) of down spiral. Otherwise fairly flat from this point onwards.
Weekends | Suitable For Night Running - The quality of night lighting is generally Good through out the run. Some short dark spots along Jones Bay Wharf, but generally well lit with street lights and shop lighting.
Spread around the run course - Pyrmont foreshore, Darling Harbour, Bangaroo, Circular quay
Roberts Street, Balmain
Try to get over Anzac Bridge quickly, can get noisy, and watch out for food delivery bikes. Pyrmont foreshore is so nice to run along and then the gravel / pavement track along Bangaroo is a great change. If you can run further then run to Mrs Mac Chair through the Royal Botanical Garden.
