Sydney has some of the best Parkruns, which are free, weekly 5K run events. They are awesome because:

  2. The Couch To 5K (C25K) Run is one of the world’s most fitness popular programs. There are lots of Mobile Apps, Training Programs, blog articles on starting a 5K running program. Parkrun allows you practice this program.
  3. You can meet other runners – keep running interesting by being social, competitive and enjoyable.
  4. Something to look forward to every Saturday either 7.00AM or 8.00AM depending on your Parkrun
  5. It will keep you motivated – Parkrun will track your progress times, number of events attended etc.
